Journalist and author of several books, but also founder of the Animal and Human site and initiator of World Animal Intelligence Day, which has been held for several years at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris, Yolaine de la Bigne promises us 3 days of fascinating conferences and exchanges as well as readings and workshops.
Of particular note this year, a prestigious godmother in the person of Jane Goodall, ethologist and icon of animal protection who was the first to observe wild chimpanzees. Unable to travel to France, Dr. Jane Goodall recorded a video explaining her point of view on animal intelligences. Over the weekend, the film “Jane” by Brett Morgen will be screened on the extraordinary life of this famous British primatologist based on previously unseen images, in particular of her husband Hugo van Lawick.
